We’re very excited to go back to the Graspop Metal Meeting and play for you all
on June 20th, 2015!

It’s been some months since we released the re-recorded version of our debut album Ecliptica and of course we couldn’t resist the temptation of attempting to play the whole album front to back live. Hence, we’re happy to announce the Ecliptica special shows in Europe. On these shows we’ll perform Ecliptica in it’s entirety as well as assorted hits from our catalog. This is a one time thing only, don’t miss it.

As special guest we will bring Freedom Call, who will celebrate the 10th anniversary of their ‘Eternity’ album and play a special set around that album.

The Book about Sonata Arctica has just been released in english E-book version.

The Book tells the story about Kemi’s most notable musical export.

With the voice of the band itself and the people close to them Sonata Arctica tells the story about the bands rise to international fame. It´s also a story about the luck the band had in the beginning and the lucky coincidences that rarely happen to bands.

In the book there’s also a complete discography and a lot of previously unreleased pictures spanning
the bands whole career. There will be also a short story The Key in the book by vocalist Tony Kakko himself.

The unique Sonata Arctica story is available in English only in e-book.

English language printed book will not be available.

Pitkän Amerikan -kiertueen jälkeen Sonata Arctica palaa takaisin Suomeen esiintymään neljälle klubikeikalle. Maaliskuussa julkaistun Pariah’s Child -levyn kappaleita päästään vihdoin kuulemaan täysipainoisesti kiertueen ensimmäisellä Helsingin keikalla The Circuksessa.

Sonata Arctica will perform at the Leyendas del Rock festival, August 6th, 2015 !

Sonata Arctica will play two shows on the Baltic Princess cruise ship in January. The shows will take
place on the cruise from Turku to Stockholm and back, leaving from Finland on the 15th of January.

On the way to Stockholm there will be a full show and on the way back the band will play
a shorter acoustic set and host a signing session. Don’t miss this special event!

Sonata Arctica will play @ the Sabaton Open Air festival in Falun, Sweden. The festival will
take place 13-15.8.2015.Check this link for details:
